Peachy is an invite-only beta for macOS. These terms are short because the arrangement is simple: you record your own meetings, the transcripts are your files, and we make no promises we can't keep about software this young.
Use Peachy for meetings you're allowed to record. Your transcripts are yours. The beta is free and may break. We can end your access, and you can stop any time — and your files stay with you either way.
Peachy is available by invite during the beta. You need a valid invite code, and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (and at least 13). Don't share your invite code — it meters usage against a limited pool.
We claim no ownership of your recordings, transcripts, or notes. Transcripts are written as
.md files in a folder you choose on your Mac. We don't store them, can't read them,
and never use your content to train models. What leaves your Mac and what doesn't is documented
exhaustively in the privacy policy.
Recording-consent laws vary, and some places require every participant to agree. Peachy gives you the tools; complying with the law where you are is on you. Tell people you're recording. Don't use Peachy to record anyone covertly or unlawfully — that's the one use we'll cut off access for.
Peachy is pre-1.0 and provided as is. It may crash, miss a recording, or transcribe imperfectly. Don't rely on it as the sole record of anything that matters — keep your own notes for meetings with real consequences. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for lost recordings, lost data, or losses arising from your use of the beta. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Meeting transcription is performed by Deepgram, and Google Calendar sync (if you connect it) is governed by Google's own terms. Those providers have their own terms and retention policies — review them if your work requires it.
Peachy is free to use: recording, transcribing on your Mac, reading, and exporting your meetings cost nothing, with no time limit and no card. A Premium subscription ($17 a month or $180 a year) adds cloud transcription and AI Answers, metered by credit, with a monthly credit allowance included. You can also buy one-time credit top-ups without a subscription.
Who you're paying. Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Polar handles the checkout, any sales tax or VAT, and your receipt, and is what appears on your statement. Polar's terms also apply to the purchase itself. Peachy never sees or stores your card details.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or annually, matching the plan you chose — until you cancel. We show you the price and the cadence before you subscribe.
Cancelling. You can cancel any time from Settings in the app, or the billing portal linked there. Cancelling stops future charges; your Premium access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, and Peachy stays free to use after that.
Refunds. If a recent charge isn't right for you, email hello@justpeachy.ai within 14 days and we'll refund it. Unused top-up credit packs are refundable.
Prices and taxes. Prices are in US dollars; tax is added where required, based on your location. We may change prices for future billing periods, with notice — a change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
What a lapse never touches. If your Premium subscription lapses or you cancel, you keep everything you've recorded, and you keep using Peachy — recording and transcribing on your Mac stay free, always. Only the cloud features (cloud transcription and AI Answers) run on credits or a subscription; your files are never affected.
Peachy itself is free to use on your own Mac. A Premium subscription adds the cloud features described above while it is active. Your entitlement travels as a code, not an account — keep it somewhere safe, like a password. You own everything you create with Peachy; we claim no rights over your meetings, transcripts, or notes. Please don't resell the app or try to circumvent the entitlement or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows. Peachy is provided as-is, especially during the beta (see above).
You can stop using Peachy at any time; delete the app and your files remain yours, on your Mac. We may suspend or end an invite — for the misuse above, or simply because a beta phase is over — and we'll try to give notice when we can. Losing access never takes your transcripts with it; they're ordinary files that were never on our servers.
Material changes get a new "last updated" date here and a mention in release notes. Continuing to use Peachy after a change means you accept it.
